Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a combat sport and a self-defence system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting and best known for submissions such as chokes, arm locks and leg locks. BJJ is extremely effective to control your opponent without the use of striking. Because of this, many occupations that require self defense eg. Policemen, military and security will train in this art.
BJJ was popularised when the UFC held its first ever event, when 170-pound Royce Gracie defeated much larger opponents using pure technique, proving BJJ's effectiveness against other fighting styles.
Our classes are run by highly experienced coaches who are passionate about supporting our student's skills development and supporting them through competitions.
